Combine VCI action with a moisture-resistant outer layer.

The VCI-treated paper supports corrosion protection inside the closed pack, while the polyethylene layer adds resistance to external moisture. The coated face, closure method and VCI-emitting face must be oriented for the intended package design.

Protection principle

Orient the emitting face and moisture barrier as one system.

The VCI-treated paper supports the protected atmosphere around the metal, while the polyethylene layer adds resistance against moisture approaching from outside the wrap.

02Which side should face the metal?

The VCI-emitting face and polyethylene-coated face must be oriented for the selected construction. Confirm the exact product structure and wrapping method before use.

03Is PE-coated VCI paper a complete seaworthy package?

Not by itself in every application. Long routes or severe humidity can require a coordinated system using sealed barrier material, desiccants or VCI film after the moisture path is assessed.
