VCI Plain Paper releases volatile corrosion inhibitor into the enclosed package atmosphere. The inhibitor adsorbs on accessible metal surfaces and helps interrupt the electrochemical reactions promoted by moisture and oxygen, without applying an oil or grease film.

VCI Plain Paper is kraft paper treated with volatile corrosion inhibitor. In a suitably closed package, the inhibitor moves through the enclosed air space and adsorbs on accessible metal surfaces.
