Survey the machine and the plant interface

The survey records dimensions, mass, centre of gravity, base geometry, approved lifting and restraint points, sensitive surfaces, utilities, loose assemblies and permitted transport positions. Doorways, aisles, floor conditions, handling equipment and staging space are measured before package divisions are fixed.

Axes, rams, tables, robots and other moving elements are secured only in positions permitted by the manufacturer or equipment owner. Removed components are photographed and match-marked where receiving sequence matters. Fluid draining, isolation, cleaning and transport-safe release remain subject to the owner's EHS and equipment procedures.

Match preservation and structure to the route

Support, blocking and restraint are designed from verified cargo and carrier inputs. Road transfer, container stuffing, breakbulk handling and storage can require different clearances, handling access and enclosure details. No transport mode or port is assumed from the Hosur location alone.

Protection for ways, shafts, fabricated frames, electrical cabinets and product-contact parts is selected for material compatibility, confirmed exposure, storage duration and customer specification. VCI, barrier film and desiccant are used only when those inputs support them.

For international shipments using regulated solid-wood packaging, treatment and marking are specified to the destination's applicable ISPM-15 requirements. Processed-wood materials may be exempt, subject to destination rules and customer specification.

BENZ executes the agreed survey, preservation, support, crate or skid, marking, closure records and load-out support at the confirmed worksite. Lifting, heavy haul, permits, disconnection and installation remain with the parties named in the project scope.
