Define the equipment handover

The survey records dimensions, mass, centre of gravity, base geometry, approved lift and restraint points, utilities, product or test fluids, open interfaces, sensitive surfaces and permitted transport positions. Draining, cleaning, isolation, decontamination and release for transport remain subject to the owner's EHS and equipment procedures.

Product-contact parts, precision mechanisms and electrical assemblies are protected according to their materials and the owner-defined cleanliness or ESD requirement. Removed connections and modules can be match-marked and registered where receiving sequence matters.

Design for the confirmed movement

Supports, blocking and package divisions use verified cargo data, plant access measurements and carrier limits. A road transfer, air shipment, container movement or breakbulk route can require different clearances, handling provisions and closure details; the method is not inferred from the city alone.

Storage duration and indoor or outdoor exposure determine whether the approved plan needs VCI, a sealed barrier, desiccant or another compatible preservation method. Inspection access, moisture monitoring or clean unpacking is included only when required by the project specification.

For international shipments using regulated solid-wood packaging, treatment and marking are specified to the destination's applicable ISPM-15 requirements. Processed-wood materials may be exempt, subject to destination rules and customer specification.

Execution with documented interfaces

BENZ executes the agreed survey, preservation, support, crate or skid, marking, closure records and load-out support at the confirmed worksite. Lifting, heavy haul, permits, disconnection and installation stay with the parties assigned in the scope.
