The survey records dimensions, mass, centre of gravity, base geometry, approved lifting and restraint points, precision faces, open services, electrical sensitivity and permitted transport positions. Axes, tables, rotors and fixtures are secured only under manufacturer or owner instructions.

Removed assemblies and connections can be photographed, match-marked and registered where receiving sequence matters. The equipment owner releases each Lucknow unit for packing after completing the required drain, clean and isolation procedure.

Make the package fit the movement

Plant access, the selected vehicle or container, intermediate handling, storage and receiving-site constraints determine package divisions and lifting access. Structural support and restraint use verified cargo and carrier inputs rather than assumed equipment weights or routes.

Preservation for machined faces, electrical assemblies and fabricated structures is selected for compatibility with verified exposure and duration. For international shipments using regulated solid-wood packaging, treatment and marking follow the destination's applicable ISPM-15 requirements. Processed wood may be exempt, subject to destination rules and customer specification.
