Hold geometry without inventing restraint points

The survey records dimensions, mass, centre of gravity, base geometry, approved lifting and restraint points, ways, spindles, rams, dies, fixtures and permitted transport positions. Temporary locks and supports follow manufacturer or owner instructions, not a generic machine category.

Oil, swarf, abrasive residue and shop contamination are assessed before wrapping. Cleaning and fluid handling remain owner-controlled. Precision faces and electrical assemblies receive compatible protection based on condition, storage and receiving requirements.

Fit the crate or skid to the real movement

Plant gates, aisle turns, selected vehicles, intermediate handling and container limits determine package divisions and lifting access. Structural support and blocking use verified cargo and carrier inputs. VCI, barrier film and desiccant are included only where confirmed exposure and compatibility support them.

For international shipments using regulated solid-wood packaging, treatment and marking follow the destination's applicable ISPM-15 requirements. Processed wood may be exempt, subject to destination rules and customer specification.

Ludhiana execution scope

Following survey, BENZ performs the approved preservation, support, crate-or-skid construction, marking, closure record and load-out assistance at the selected factory. The work order separately assigns disconnection, lifting, permitted transport and receiving-site installation.
