Measure the exit before fixing the package

The survey records equipment dimensions, mass, centre of gravity, approved lift and restraint points, base geometry, condition, fluids and sensitive surfaces. Doorways, aisle turns, floor capacity, dock height, lifting coverage and staging space are measured before package divisions and assembly order are set.

The Mumbai-region plant confirms drain, cleaning, isolation and transport-release status under its EHS and equipment procedures. Moving elements are secured only in manufacturer- or owner-approved positions. Removed parts can be match-marked and registered for receiving sequence.

Container, breakbulk or plant transfer

The confirmed vehicle, container clearances, terminal lifts, outdoor storage and receiving-site limits determine supports, restraint and enclosure access. Container or port handling is included only when identified in the carrier or project plan. The confirmed gateway and terminal-handling instructions determine the packing scope.

Actual surface condition, the storage interval and compatibility decide whether the Mumbai pack uses VCI, barrier film or desiccant. For international shipments using regulated solid-wood packaging, treatment and marking follow the destination's applicable ISPM-15 requirements. Processed wood may be exempt, subject to destination rules and customer specification.
