Maritime air wets unpainted ferrous even when the plant is inland of the berth. Night cooling on an open apron condenses on cold beds. Whether a sealed barrier and desiccant belong in the pack depends on how long the cargo will sit and whether it stays under cover. The survey records that dwell. A same-week install into a dry hall may need less.

Electronics and control racks take a clean wrap before timber, so park dust does not travel with the cabinet. Ferrous frames take VCI where bright metal is exposed. They should not share an unsealed crate with open electronics.

Where regulated solid-wood packaging is used for an international shipment, treatment and marking are specified to the destination's applicable ISPM-15 requirements. Processed-wood materials such as plywood may be exempt, subject to the destination rules and customer specification.

Moerdijk pads take North Sea wind. Unpainted ferrous on an open skid flashes. If the cargo will sit outside, the envelope is a weather crate, not an indoor wrap.

Eindhoven electronics travelling with a ferrous frame still need a split pack. Park dust and maritime damp are two different attacks on the same lot.

Mixed lots in one park

A park move often includes a machining cell, panels and a utility skid in the same window. Each class follows its own method.

Pad time and destination

An Eindhoven hall that is dry at noon still puts cargo on a wet pad at night. Send expected outdoor time. That is the barrier decision.

If the crate will leave the EU, ISPM-15 marks are in the timber specification. If it only moves to another Dutch park, say so. Destination changes the wood, not only the truck.
