Record datums before a line is divided

The survey identifies dimensions, mass, centre of gravity, base geometry, approved lift and restraint points, machine datums, fixtures, utilities and permitted transport positions. Axes, rams, robots and counterbalances are secured only in manufacturer- or owner-approved positions.

Where a line is dismantled, connections and modules can be photographed, match-marked and entered in an asset and package register. Packing order and opening instructions are aligned with the confirmed receiving sequence rather than the order in which space becomes available.

Build each transport unit for its route

Plant access, vehicle or container limits, intermediate handling, storage and receiving-site constraints determine package divisions and lifting access. Supports and restraints use verified structural and carrier data. Precision surfaces and electrical assemblies receive compatible preservation based on actual exposure and duration.

For international shipments using regulated solid-wood packaging, treatment and marking follow the destination's applicable ISPM-15 requirements. Processed wood may be exempt, subject to destination rules and customer specification.

Pune line-move execution

Once the asset and packing sequence is agreed, BENZ provides the specified preservation, transport supports, cases or skids, marks, closure record and loading assistance at the surveyed plant. The project plan separately allocates disconnection, lifting, heavy transport, permits and installation.
