The floor in front of the machine sets the method

In Faridabad and Ballabhgarh the usual lot is machining centres, lathes, grinders and light presses. Axes go to a transport position and are clamped where the machine allows it. Ways take a clean VCI wrap. Press rams are locked so they cannot hammer the gibs on the haul. Geometry is the risk that packing has to hold.

Inside Delhi, Okhla, Mayapuri, Bawana, Narela and Patparganj often hand over a mixed shutdown: a transformer or panel, a compressor, a printing frame or a long skid. Tight gates set crate width. The survey splits the lot by risk before timber is cut. Windings stay dry. Compressors are not wrapped until residual water status is known under the plant procedure. Long frames are blocked at known lift points.

In Noida, Greater Noida, Ecotech and Surajpur the usual lot is SMT, testers, control racks and light conveyors. Cabinets are sealed against shop dust before timber. Ferrous frames travelling with electronics do not share an unsealed crate. Cleanliness is the first specification, then blocking for the haul to the receiving plant or inland depot.

Survey, pack, tag, load

Work starts on the plant floor with the machine type, size and weight, lift points, residual fluids, lockout, photographs, shutdown dates, destination and expected storage. Who drains, blinds or decontaminates is a plant EHS decision, and preservation is written after that status is known. Practical package limits are confirmed from the surveyed mass, centre of gravity, plant access, available lifting equipment and booked transport.

Exposed ferrous takes VCI where the survey agrees. A sealed barrier and desiccant are specified when dwell requires them: a closed trailer through May heat and a cold night, winter fog, or time at an inland container depot. A same-day dry hall-to-hall move may need less. That is a survey call, not a default recipe.

If a line is coming out of one estate and going into another, machines are tagged so they can be rebuilt in order. That work is scoped as factory relocation when sequence matters. Load-out includes markings the next crane can read and a packing completion record: equipment list, photographs of the closed case, and any timber treatment marks required for the booked route.

ICD Tughlakabad and Dadri matter only when they are on the booking. They add closed-trailer time, depot heat or fog, and a second handling step. If the cargo is staying inside NCR, those depot conditions are omitted. BENZ executes that heavy machinery packaging as a turnkey job on the floor that still holds the machine.

For an NCR project, provide the estate and city, equipment register, photographs of ways, cabinets or bases, residual-fluid and lockout status, destination, expected storage interval and shutdown window.
