On the NH48 auto corridor the usual lot is press tools, line modules and locating fixtures. Rams are locked. Pads are blocked so a haul cannot rack a datum. Transport locks go on before the first trailer is booked. Tagging matters when a line must rebuild in the order it came out.

At Sitapura and Vishwakarma the lot is often machine tools and electronics cabinets in the same week. Ways take a clean VCI wrap. Racks are sealed against grit before timber. Equipment classes with conflicting cleanliness or corrosion-control requirements are packed separately. Warm daytime loading followed by overnight temperature reduction can create condensation inside an insufficiently protected enclosure. Whether a sealed barrier belongs in the pack depends on the confirmed storage and transport interval.

Heat, grit and day-night swing are design inputs. They do not prescribe one packing system for every crate. A same-day short plant move of an already-sealed rack may need less than a closed-trailer hold toward an inland depot. Inland export movement is written into the specification only when that haul is booked.

Survey through release record

Equipment list, size and weight, lift points, lock status, photographs, shutdown dates, destination and expected storage are recorded before preservation and structural design begin. Practical package limits are confirmed from the surveyed mass, centre of gravity, plant access, available lifting equipment and booked transport.

Deliverables at load-out typically include the equipment register, packing specification, photographs of the closed case, crate markings and a release record.
