Industrial sustainability pathways for right-sized corrugated, wooden export packaging, returnable systems, VCI, desiccants and EPR-aware material choices.
Packaging choices focused on right-sizing, material reduction, route-aware protection and lower avoidable waste while preserving product performance.
Waste Smart signifies that the initial stride toward a circular economy that entails the elimination of waste through innovative design, enabling materials to enjoy multiple lifecycles.
Paper-based packaging routes including corrugated, honeycomb, paper cushioning and responsible sourcing discussions where product-specific evidence supports the claim.
Industrial pallet covers manufactured to the length, width and height of your stacked load. Polyethylene and polythene pallet hoods for warehouse dust control, staging and transit when you need a slip-on cover, not a heat or stretch unitizing film. Film thickness 25 to 300 microns.
A pallet cover is a flexible polyethylene cover that slips over a palletized load and drops down the sides. Industry language also includes pallet hood and polythene pallet covers. The job is simple: keep dust, dirt and short-term incidental weather off the load during staging and short moves. Flat and gusseted styles both exist; gusseted covers expand to a rectangular footprint and are how most industrial buyers specify width, side gusset and height.
This is not a shrink hood (heat unitizing) and not a stretch hood (elastic film without heat). It is also not a form-fit bag for a single machine shape; that sits on custom 3D bags.
Measure the stacked load length, width and height, including overhang beyond the pallet deck. For gusseted covers, industrial catalogs often quote width x side gusset x height. Leave a little ease so the cover pulls on without tearing at the corners. If you only need a top sheet, say so; a full cover and a top sheet are different products.
Measuring the empty pallet instead of the stacked load. Ordering a stock height that stops halfway down a tall stack. Using outdoor black film indoors when clear would speed picking. Confusing a shrink hood with a slip-on pallet cover. Skipping quantity so the first reply cannot price. Fix the measure and the job description first.
A slip-on polyethylene cover that goes over a palletized load to reduce dust, handling dirt and short-term incidental weather during staging. Also called a pallet hood or polythene pallet cover.
Measure load length, width and height as stacked on the pallet, including overhang. For gusseted covers, quote width, side gusset and height. Leave a little ease so the cover slips on without tearing. Send a photo if the load is irregular.
No. A pallet cover is typically a loose or lightly fitted slip-on cover. A shrink hood is made for heat-shrink unitizing. A stretch hood uses elastic film without heat. Related pallet jobs, different process and film.
BENZ can supply film constructions from 25 to 300 microns, selected for handling conditions, outdoor exposure, puncture risk and whether the cover is temporary storage or transit use.
Clear helps identify the load without removing the cover. Opaque or black film can hide contents; outdoor staging requires a validated UV-stabilized construction, not colour alone.
Load L x W x H (or width x side gusset x height), indoor or outdoor use, clear or opaque preference, thickness in microns if known, quantity, and whether the load will later be stretch wrapped or heat shrunk.
Send load dimensions and indoor or outdoor use. We will quote a custom polyethylene pallet cover and flag if shrink or stretch is the better process.
