What a spare-parts RFQ should put in writing
Metal list and plating. Piece count ranges. Kit ID rules. Origin hold days. Warehouse and CFS dwell assumptions. Ocean weeks. Destination storage. Whether ESD rules apply. Whether barrier free volume is mandatory. Packing list format. Required documents: SDS, organisational ISO certificates, grade-tied product documentation where applicable, method note covering clean gate, free volume, desiccant units and seal method.
Grade-tied flexible VCI performance families and vapour-inhibiting ability test culture should be requested where the grade claims them. Organisational ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certificates prove system management, not that a specific film grade meets a military performance family. Keep those layers separate in the RFQ.
