Shanghai Desiccant Selection Has to Beat Commodity Supplier Logic
Shanghai has many local desiccant suppliers, so a weak page that only says "container desiccant in Shanghai" will not deserve to rank. The real buyer question is more technical: which desiccant chemistry protects electronics versus machinery versus chemical cargo, how many units are needed in a 40 ft container, where the units should be placed, and what documentation is needed for export buyers.
Shanghai cargo commonly moves from factory floors and consolidation warehouses into containers that may sail trans-Pacific, Asia-Europe, Middle East, South America or intra-Asia routes. Temperature swings and long transit turn moisture from cartons, pallets, wood, paper, textiles and cargo surfaces into container rain. BENZ specifies the desiccant system by cargo failure mode, not just by the loading port.
