A laser cutter's real precision is not in its bed, it is in a beam path aligned to microns through mirrors, a focusing lens and, on fibre machines, a delivery cable with a minimum bend radius that a careless coil can permanently damage. Knock that path out of alignment in transit and the machine arrives structurally fine and optically useless. BENZ packs the beam path as carefully as the frame.

On a CO2 or older-style laser, the beam travels through a series of bending mirrors from resonator to cutting head, each aligned to a fraction of a degree; a shock that shifts even one mirror mount throws the whole path off and the machine needs a field re-alignment before it can cut again. Fibre laser machines route the beam through a flexible delivery cable instead of open mirrors, which removes that specific risk but adds another: the cable has a manufacturer-specified minimum bend radius, and coiling it tighter than that during a move can kink and permanently damage it, an expensive part to source and replace overseas.
Under that sits the mechanical structure: a gantry running on precision ground rails with rack-and-pinion or linear-motor drive, and on water-cooled machines a chiller unit that must be drained before transit the same way an EDM dielectric tank must be. BENZ secures the cutting head and mirror mounts, respects the fibre cable's bend radius, protects the rail and drive, and drains the chiller, before the machine ever goes on a skid.
The cutting head is locked to its home position, mirror mounts on CO2-type machines are clamped against vibration, the focusing lens and protective cover glass are removed and cased if the machine design allows, and the nozzle assembly is protected.
On fibre laser machines the beam delivery cable is coiled and secured strictly within the manufacturer's minimum bend radius and cushioned against crush, never coiled tight to save crate space.
The water-cooling chiller and lines are drained to prevent freeze damage, corrosion and added shipping weight; the gantry rails, rack-and-pinion or linear drive and bed are degreased and VCI protected to MIL-PRF-3420H.
