Stored Is Not the Same as Protected
Equipment goes into storage for good reasons, a delayed project, a phased relocation, plant bought ahead of need, but storage itself is a risk if it is just floor space in a shed. Uncontrolled humidity condenses on cold steel, ground moisture wicks into anything resting on a damp floor, and a machine that sat for a year in those conditions emerges with rusted ways, seized bearings and electronics that have to be dried out before they can be trusted. The asset was safe on paper and quietly degrading in reality.
BENZ stores machinery the way it preserves it. Equipment is VCI-preserved and, where needed, barrier-enclosed before it is stored; it is kept elevated on heavy-duty platforms or racking off the floor; and the environment is held in a stable, dry range with humidity control and dehumidification. The space is monitored continuously, temperature, humidity and air, with defined response if conditions drift, and the stored machines are inspected to a schedule and their preservation renewed before it expires. When the project is ready, the equipment is released in working condition, ready to ship or install.
