Kochi Requires Desiccant Decisions That Protect Product Aroma and Carton Strength
Kochi's moisture problem is not limited to visible water droplets. Spice exporters worry about aroma loss, mould and caking; seafood and food exporters worry about carton strength and odour; coir, rubber and machinery exporters worry about moisture released by the cargo itself after the container is sealed.
Spices and food cargo are not protected just by preventing visible water. Humidity can flatten aroma, soften cartons, encourage mould and damage labels. BENZ uses food-contact-aware pack desiccants where the product environment matters, and calcium chloride container desiccants where humid coastal loading creates container rain risk.
